Born and raised in Ecuador, Lina has lived on and off in NYC since 2002. In the off times, she was traveling the world exploring new cultures, and diving deep into her self-discovery. She started meditation intuitively in 2001 which launched her into her path in the wellness space. With over 700 hours of invaluable mentorships and teacher training, Lina has an informed mindset of self-awareness and well-roundedness. Her training includes a 200HRYTT with YogaWorks, and a scholarship in Trauma-Informed YTT with Exhale to Inhale which offers free yoga classes to survivors of domestic violence for which she volunteered.
Lina studied and worked as an Ayurveda Yoga Therapist in Kerala India in an Ayurveda retreat center. She has been practicing Kundalini Yoga since 2019 and Received Kundalini Teacher Training with Guru Jagat and Harijiwan at RAMA Yoga in Mallorca in 2020.
Lina's classes are guided by awareness through the breath and rooted in alignment, encouraging you to find your own rhythm and authentic expression of movement. Each class with Lina will meet you where you are while empowering you to find your edge with grace.
