No matter where you are in your yoga journey, there is a class to support your practice here at Astoria Yoga. If you've never stepped on a mat before, or it's been a while, we recommend our newcomer class, Yoga Foundations, where you can learn the very basics in a gentle and slow-paced environment. Our Restorative class is also perfect for beginners or if you want something more mindful (less movement). We have open-level classes every day like Vinyasa and Flow to Slow, and an intermediate/advanced class, Power Flow, 3x a week.
You can learn about our classes here.
For your own safety, if you are new to yoga, have any injuries or conditions, are pregnant, or recently gave birth - please tell your instructor before class (arrive a few minutes early).
You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat with you, or you can rent one of ours for $5 (mat is free on your first visit).
Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that you can move in, being mindful that looser fits may get in your way during down dog or inversions. You can bring a water bottle to fill up here at our filtered station, or we have cups you can use.
Similar clothing for sauna (comfortable, breathable): yoga clothes, shorts, underwear, swimwear. There is always a towel to separate you from the sauna bench.

We respect the practice of everyone in the room by honoring time. Please plan to arrive early, at least 5 minutes before class starts (or more, if it's your first time to the studio), to allow us time to check you in and get you settled into the studio with ease, so you can let the instructor know of any injuries, conditions, or if it's your first class. All classes start promptly and late entry is not permitted.
You can cancel your yoga class online up to 4 hours before start time. Either cancel it through your account on StudioGrowth or you can email to let us know you won't be making it, and the credit will remain available to use toward a future class. If you do not cancel and do not inform us you cannot attend class 4 hours before class, the credit will be marked as used (consideration can be given for any emergencies that arise).
We are unable to adjust or cancel any reservations made through third-party booking sites like ClassPass. If you need to change your booking you must contact ClassPass directly.
We are unable to issue refunds. If you have any questions before making a purchase please contact us at hello@astoria.yoga.
For yoga classes, you can use a credit to book any 60-minute class on our schedule: the Intro Offer of 3 classes is valid for 3 weeks (upon first booking), single class credits are valid for 1 month, 5-packs of yoga and sauna are valid for 6 months, and 10-packs are valid for 1 year. If you reserve and your plans change, see cancellation policy above. Lateness and no-shows to any class or appointment will consume the credit.
If you purchase a workshop credit, for either a sound bath or an asana event, these credits are valid for 6 months after purchase. If the workshop you reserve is full, you will be added to the waitlist for that event. If a spot opens up you will be automatically added, if you are not able to attend and/or cancel with more than 48 hours notice, you will have the credit re-issued to your account to use toward a future workshop.
