- Front Desk Reception
- Part-time, 4-8 hours a week
- Hospitality & Retail support: Open the studio space and prepare it for practice, provide top-tier experience for clients upon check-in, assisting with sales & accommodating sauna sessions, light admin of studio inbox, phone, and voicemails, responding to general inquiries.
- Operations & Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of studio, sauna, and reception areas. Refill supplies as needed, assist with laundry.
- Preferred experience: Prior client-facing / sales role, wellness or fitness spaces, familiar with Astoria Yoga and our offerings, live local in Astoria/Queens
- Assistant Studio Manager
- Part-time: 15-20 hours a week
- Responsibilities of Front Desk Reception in addition to:
- Scheduling Support: Assist with the management of staff & internal systems: the weekly shift schedule of front desk reception, and classes with substitute requests; contacting individuals for coverage & updating the schedules as needed.
- Web & Content Creation: Assist with creation of weekly social media posts, eblasts, digital & print assets promotion of studio, updating the website & booking system with new content as needed.
- Client Care Coordination: Responding to and assisting clients with inquiries, booking class or sauna reservations, following up with leads, providing exceptional service to our community members.
- Preferred experience: 2-3 years of client-facing / sales role, wellness or fitness spaces, familiar with Astoria Yoga and our offerings, live local in Astoria/Queens, proficient with booking systems such as Mindbody, Momence, ClassPass, familiar with platforms such as Mailchimp, Canva, Instagram
